Garuda Wisnu Kencana
Garuda Wisnu Kencana which means "bird Garuda Vehicle of God Wisnu", is one of the tourist attractions in South Bali, its existence is located on a limestone plateau and facing the southern coast of the island of Bali, because it is located at the height it provides access space and distance wide view, even above its height you can see the coast of Kuta along with Ngurah Rai airport.

Garuda Wisnu Kencana was built in 1997. It was designed and built by Nyoman Nuarta, with a height of 126 meters and a width of 60 meters and became the largest masterpiece on the Island of the Gods, for a long wait of about 28 years, during which the work was halted, finally on 4 August 2018 The statue of GWK finally stood tall, and on September 22, 2019 this statue of GWK was inaugurated by the President of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo. The statue of GWK has become one of the 3rd largest statues in the world, surpassing the height of the Statue of Liberty in America, and completing popular tourist destinations in the southern Bali region.
