Who is the person behind the Pendaki Indonesia.

The beginning of the formation of the Pendaki Indonesia community on September 3, 1997, was inseparable from the influence, ideas and interference of a true adventurer who was very experienced but very humble named Budi Mulyana, He has explored various mountains in Java, Bali and Sumatra, including: Mount Kerinci (Sumatra), Mount Salak, Mount Gede, Mount Pangrango, Mount Ciremai, Mount Manglayang, Mount Papandayan (West Java), Mount Slamet, Mount Merapi,  Mount Merbabu (Central Java) Semeru, Mount Argopuro (East Java), Mount Agung (Bali), Mount Rinjani (West Nusa Tenggara / NTB).

He has experience in various important positions related to the wild, including since 1999 he has been a member of the Volunteer for Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park, which is tasked with assisting the National Park in providing information about the National Park, and providing evacuation assistance for climbers who have experienced disasters and accidents.

Mr. Budi Mulyana is the founder of the Pendaki Indonesia community whose members are outdoor activists consisting of various groups and local individuals scattered in various parts of Indonesia, Mr.Budi Mulyana also formed 80 Coordinators in every region of Indonesia, including in: Sumatra, Java, Bali, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, Maluku and Papua), even to Malaysia and Singapore.

Mr. Budi Mulyana and the community he leads, either directly or in collaboration with Rapid Response Organizations (Aksi Cepat Tanggap/ACT), schools as well as volunteers and the Indonesian Red Cross often carry out various social actions, which include planting a thousand trees, donating blood, helping to create a reading garden for children, and always mobilizing the community he leads to help victims of natural disasters that occur in various regions in Indonesia, such as: volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, floods.
