The First Transportation Themed Museum in Asia

Malang East Java is indeed not a big city that can be compared to cities in Java such as Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya.  But Malang is very interesting and unique as one of the tourist destinations for domestic and foreign tourists. Besides being famous with the nickname of the apple city that is inherent in the city of Malang, Malang has a cool and cool air temperature which makes it suitable as a tourist destination for family holidays.

One of them is in the tourist city of Batu. Lots of tourist attractions offered around the city with this cool and comfortable atmosphere.  Starting from nature tourism, waterfall tourism, mountain tourism and ecotourism. But the most unique thing is historical tourism which has a value of knowledge that will not be forgotten at the Angkut Museum. Museum located at Jalan Terusan Sultan Agung Atas No. 2, open from 12.00pm to 08.00pm every day. The museum was inaugurated on March 9, 2014, with the aim of appreciating the development progress in the world of transportation. This is what makes Museum Angkut as a very unique and interesting tourist attraction. Because this museum presents more than 300 types of traditional transportation collections to modern transportation from all corners of the world, as well as becoming the first transportation themed museum in Asia. The journey around the transport museum begins in the main lobby which provides a diverse collection of vehicles from time to time.  Like bicycles, the history of bicycles with outboard engines, various ancient cars made in Asia, Europe and America, horse drawn carriage, classic racing cars, even helicopters. If you walk deeper, you will find an Education Zone or zone containing information and transportation history from period to period in Indonesia and internationally. In an area of ??900 m2 this can even be found in the history of Titanic, to know about science, and how to work a car engine. Very interesting to increase knowledge. Then move on to Sunda Kelapa and Batavia Zone, the name of the city of Jakarta in the colonial period. You will be invited back to the past where Indonesia was still colonized by the colony. There are types of Harbour replicas and interesting vehicles that were used in the Dutch colonial era.  Then after that there is the Gangster Town and Broadway Street Zone which feels the atmosphere of a gangster style of the 1930s to 1970s in America. For those of you who want to see transportation in Europe, you can stop by the European Zone. Even if you want to feel the atmosphere in England and learn about its vehicles, you can go directly to the Buckingham Palace Zone. There are types of transportation in the style of the British empire here such as Blackburn, Royal Enfield, Triumph, Raligh, Matchless, Fillir, and even Land Rover which is often boarded with Queen Elizabeth. And finally there is the Las Vegas Zone and Hollywood Zone in the American style. Many appearance of Hollywood style luxury vehicles in this zone.
